Jazz in the Vines

New this year, the Fort Langley Jazz & Arts Festival is holding a spring concert series. Every month a Campbell Valley winery will host a special concert featuring top jazz talent alongside exceptional food, hospitality — and, of course, incredible wines from our unique growing region!  Township 7 is proud to participate in this inaugural event and will be hosting the Mazacote Band.

Mazacote is a six-piece funky world/Latin band. Inspired by Afro-Caribbean percussion and tropical party sounds, they play brass heavy Latin dance beats with a socially conscious message. Featuring the captivating voice of Nicaraguan singer/songwriter David Lopez backed by a groove-heavy rhythm section with Carlos Arias on bass, Chris Couto on timbales, Juan Encinales on congas, pianist Niho Takase and trumpeter Malcolm Aiken.

Tickets are $35 plus service charges and taxes and may be purchased via the Festival  website.
