The Art of Sabrage
Discover the elegance and excitement of sabrage with our new “Saber & Sip – The Art of Sabrage” experience at Township 7 Vineyards & Winery. This unique event combines a luxurious tasting flight of our acclaimed seven stars sparkling wine series with the theatrical art of opening a bottle with a saber, a tradition that dates back to Napoleonic times.
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of our finest sparkling wine. Our expert hosts will share insights into the rich history of Township 7, the evolution of sparkling wine, and the thrilling technique of sabrage. Completing this memorable experience, you will be guided through a tasting flight of four of our seven stars sparkling wines.
The highlight of your visit will be a live sabrage demonstration, followed by the opportunity to perform the saber technique yourself—a memorable hands-on experience.

Picnic Area
Indulge in a delightful selection of local cheeses, meats, and snacks complementing our wines at our tasting rooms. Alternatively, you’re welcome to savour your own picnic while relaxing in our licensed picnic area. Quench your thirst with our premium wines, and we also offer a variety of non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase to enjoy in the same serene setting.
Please Note
In order for us to provide an exceptional wine tasting experience and due to limited space for serving our customers, reservations are highly recommended. Wine Club Members enjoy complimentary wine tastings. To ensure all guests can enjoy a tasting, we kindly request that all visits be within a 60-minute stay. Drop-ins are welcome, but priority will be given to those with a reservation. Due to B.C. Liquor laws, wine tastings cannot be held in the picnic area.
Important: Provincial liquor laws require that we only serve alcohol to someone 19 years of age or older. All wine tastings are subject to 5% GST & 10% PLT.
