It’s the first long weekend of the summer and we are celebrating. Both our Okanagan and Fraser Valley wineries have live music today. At our Naramata Bench winery enjoy tunes from Rick VanCamp and Laurie MacGregor from 3-5 pm and at our south Langley winery Evan Kennedy is performing a set from 5-8 pm. For the summer we’ve extended the hours at our south Langley winery to 8 pm daily!
We are also releasing our 2020 Provenance Series Sauvignon Blanc, as bright and fresh as a summer’s day, this single vineyard wine is crafted with stainless steel and barrel fermented Sauvignon Blanc grown on our own Blue Terrace Vineyard in north Oliver. The majority was fermented cool in stainless steel to retain the fragrant varietal aromatics and crisp acidity, whilst a small percent was fermented in one neutral French barrel to add roundness to the palate and tropical fruits to the profile. This vintage is brimming with passion fruit, gooseberry, and fresh lime peel aromas. The vibrant palate follows through with hints of tropical fruit and citrus, finishing with a refreshing crispness.
Why not make it red and whites weekend, and add to your festivities with our 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon? Released earlier this spring, it is fabulous with your barbecue. Take in the sunshine, a glass of wine, and kick off the celebrations in our scenic vineyards.
