A Sparkling Seminar

Did you know that as sparkling wine ages, the sparkle changes? Over time it will lose some of its carbonation, deepen in colour, and the flavours will evolve with dried fruit, nutty, honey and toasty characteristics.  Discover more about this *seriously* fantastic wine…

Join our winemaking team in a sparkling seminar next month and learn why Méthode Champenoise wines are so special. You’ll taste your way through 6 vintages of our Traditional Method south Langley estate sparkling wines including our 2015 seven stars Sirius, along with the 2016 to 2020 vintages that currently are under en tirage.

Sirius is well, a serious wine!  Highly awarded out of the gate, it was honoured with a gold at the BC Lieutenant Governor’s Wine Awards this fall.  Wine critics across Canada have described it as:

  • 95 points: “An elegant wine with a good mousse and aromas of citrus mingled with delicate brioche notes…” John Schreiner
  • 94 points: “Serious, complex, elegant. Classic styling, it has a bold lemony finish–a shining star in the portfolio…” Daenna Van Mulligen
  • 94 points: “A lovely golden hue in the glass with a lively mousse, elegant bubbles, a creamy texture and finessed on the finish…” Rick VanSickle
  • 94 points: “Polished sparkler with a firm mousse, textured, creamy mouthfeel and measured acidity. It’s drinking beautifully now but will be great to revisit in five years…” Tim Pawsey.
  • “A beautiful traditional-method wine made from pinot noir and chardonnay…” Rod Phillips, Nuvo Magazine.

Enjoy the *Sirius* sparkle with us! Wine club members plus one can attend the seminar for free. Guests are $15 per person. Limited availability on December 2 and 4th!

Severe flooding in the Greater Vancouver & B.C. Interior Region

Due to severe flooding in the Greater Vancouver and B.C. Interior region, we anticipate many parts of the country will experience delays with delivery of your wine orders. As we are working closely with our shipping company, we do not have estimated delivery dates; however, rest assured your wine will make it to you as soon as possible.

We share our deepest sympathies with those affected by the recent storm in British Columbia.
