It’s the May long weekend and we’re celebrating the unofficial start of summer with the release of our 2020 Pinot Gris. It’s a delightful and stylish addition to your staycation, a bbq, or kicking back on the patio with loved ones.
Our single vineyard Pinot Gris was crafted with fruit from our Naramata Bench estate, where the western facing, gently sloping vineyards have excellent exposure to the afternoon sun and enjoy cool evening breezes off Okanagan lake. Fermented in mostly stainless steel, along with two neutral, French oak barrels, this rich, textural take on Pinot Gris boasts multiple layers. This vintage is beautifully aromatic, with fresh peach, pear and sweet honeysuckle aromas. These continue on the palate with the addition of a rich, round texture followed by a flinty, mineral finish. Dry with a touch of natural sweetness, it’s refreshing and fantastic for year-round enjoyment.
