Our seven stars VEGA 2021 is named for one of the most luminous stars in our night sky. Like the star, this effervescent sparkling wine is young, vibrant and full of character. A single vineyard wine, it is made with Viognier from the sustainably managed, Fool’s Gold Vineyard in north Oliver. The wine was en tirage for 12 months to ensure the bright aromatics of this classic Rhône variety were retained, along with the development of some rich and creamy autolytic characteristics. This vintage of seven stars VEGA is beautifully aromatic and crafted in an slightly off-dry style. Its fragrant aromas display pink grapefruit and mandarin orange notes, which follow through on the palate. Only 383 six bottle cases were made. Recently described by wine critic Daenna Van Mulligen as “Harmonious, precise, elegant,” 92 points and Some Deborah Podurgiel as, “An absolutely stunning sparkling Viognier,” 93 points.
