April is BC Wine month!

Celebrate spring, the return of warm weather, and all the beautiful blossoms and fresh greenery with some local wine. April is BC wine month! (Though how about every month?)

Did you know we were founded in the Township of Langley on July 7 and are now in our 20th year? We have grown a lot since then, thanks to your support and have sustainably managed estate vineyards in Oliver, on the Naramata Bench and in south Langley. We also work closely with farmers in Naramata, OK Falls, Oliver and Osoyoos to source additional fruit for several of our small lot wines. We make the majority of our wines at our Okanagan winery, as well as a few wines at our Fraser Valley winery.

An added bonus to buy this April – Township 7 has partnered with the BC Hospitality Foundation on our 2nd Annual Support, Ship & Sip charity campaign for the month, where for every online order we will donate $10 to the BCHF to support hospitality workers in financial distress due to medical issues as well as the new BC WISE education fund, which we cofounded. (Simply order online and we will ship for free across most of Canada with a minimum 4 bottle order).

Some great wines to try this month… Cozy up with a bottle of our 2018 Merlot, rated 92 points by wine critic Daenna Van Mulligen, who described it as “Generous, supple, balanced; the finish is smooth…” Or for a fabulous and fun white, our recently released 2019 7 Blanc was just featured by James Nevison in the Province Newspaper. He writes, this “fan-favourite, unabashedly aromatic white is predominantly Gewürztraminer blended with Viognier, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Muscat. In the glass it’s all fruit cocktail, peach, and floral aromas. Lively and off-dry overall —  yet with a smooth disposition — this white wine is tailor-made for the return of safe al fresco meals…”

Thank you for buying local and helping us give back to the community. Cheers!

Severe flooding in the Greater Vancouver & B.C. Interior Region

Due to severe flooding in the Greater Vancouver and B.C. Interior region, we anticipate many parts of the country will experience delays with delivery of your wine orders. As we are working closely with our shipping company, we do not have estimated delivery dates; however, rest assured your wine will make it to you as soon as possible.

We share our deepest sympathies with those affected by the recent storm in British Columbia.
