Kick off the long weekend with the best of BC! We’re celebrating with the release of our 2019 Merlot and live music. This Friday afternoon, local musicians Russ and Christine Stasiuk, are performing from 3:30 to 5:30 pm in our Naramata vineyard. Pick up a bottle of our newly released Merlot and enjoy the tunes on the picturesque Naramata Bench.
Our 2019 Merlot was crafted with fruit from three excellent vineyards: our estate North Bench Oliver’s Blue Terrace, with smaller portions from Remuda in Okanagan Falls, and Front Yard in Naramata. In Oliver the rich, rocky soils provide a foundation for superior grape quality. The grapes from Okanagan Falls contribute great structure, and fruit from the Naramata Bench adds complexity and dimension to the blend. This vintage ss laced with ripe cherry and plum aromas, along with spicy hints of tobacco, cocoa, and vanilla. Violet hued and juicy, the three south Okanagan terroirs adds complexity and depth, with oak barrel aging to soften tannins and enhance the wine’s ageability.
